Slow and Steady Wins the Race

My dream is for us all to dream big and go after our dreams with everything we have.

Regardless of how exciting dream chasing is, life will always be full of boring moments. We all have basic maintenance things we have to do each day. We have to clean our homes, feed our dogs, and fill our cars with gas over and over again.

Personally I find it tedious to wash my face and brush my teeth every single night. I choose to be faithful in these little things because I know that they are important in both the short and long term.

These maintenance moments are some of the basic building blocks of life.

Sometimes God leaves us in a place of boring repetition because He has us in a holding pattern. Regardless of how boring our lives may seem, people around us are watching.

There will suddenly come a moment when all of your steadiness will pay off. Your consistent choosing to have a joyful attitude in the midst of plain normal life will open up the door for a “wow” moment.

You never can tell when your faithfulness will open the door for you to make a forever impact in someone’s life.

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

Galatians 6:9

Peace Train

I want to share with you an experience my spiritual daughter had with the Lord just the other day.  I love it so much because it’s all about abiding in peace and the kingdom.  Enjoy!

I just had the craziest experience with the Lord. We were standing in this train station, and I could literally feel the air from the train pushing against my face and back. I was like,”Hey, I hate trains.” Jesus was like, “Let yourself go.” The wind totally held me up. He was like, “That’s abiding in peace.” Then we walked onto the train, but it was still moving so fast. He was telling me the importance of abiding in peace and asked if I wanted to see something cool. I said, “Yes.” We got off the train, and the station was crowded. Everyone was frozen and Jesus said, “Watch this.” He went and began to change people’s faces, their expressions. He was like, “You try it.” We literally ran through the crowd, and we were taking casts off people and taking their crutches. We would just stretch out the person’s legs or arms or whatever, and they were gonna be better. Then we went back on the train. He told me that I can travel faster in peace than any other way.
